Tanis Emmett Wedding Style is a top bridal tailoring service in Ontario. We alter, fit and customize over 1,000 bridal gowns each year. Our team offers one-on-one consultations with our brides in a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. Located in Pickering, ON, we serve clients from across Ontario, as well as internationally.
Our Part-Time Alterations Specialists will assist clients throughout the entire process of altering their gown. From providing an incredible fitting experience, to completing the sewing and handwork needed. This position requires minimum 5 years of alterations experience. An in person sewing skills test will be required of applicants.
This position requires excellent communication skills and English fluency is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Working under the production manager on dress alterations
- Completing assigned work in an efficient and timely manner
- Producing high quality work to specified standards
- Working directly with clients in fittings
Qualifications
- Outgoing, positive, and highly attentive to client needs
- Confidence in working on luxury and designer garments
- At least 5 years of sewing experience
- Team player who works well individually
- Highly efficient sewing skills
- Attentive to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines
