We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages, to meet client needs.
- Assess client conditions by reviewing medical history and conducting thorough consultations.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and client progress.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client concerns.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license as required by state regulations.
- Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide clear instructions and feedback.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to accommodate client schedules.
