Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 3 Dump Truck Driver to join our team. Preference will be given to candidates who also have experience operating heavy equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a stable and professional work environment.
Duties
- Safely operate Class 3 dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites and between locations
- Perform routine inspections of dump trucks, ensuring mechanical functionality and safety compliance
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using auxiliary equipment such as loaders, excavators, or backhoes
- Support other heavy equipment operations including dozer, grader, water truck, or horizontal drilling as needed
- Maintain accurate logs of material deliveries, fuel usage, and maintenance activities
- Follow all safety protocols and construction site procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors to coordinate daily tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 3 dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of equipment
- Load and unload materials as required
- Assist with site operations when needed
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license
- Clean driver’s abstract (required)
- Condition 15 endorsement and/or Class 1 license considered a strong asset
- Previous dump truck driving experience preferred
- Heavy equipment experience (excavators, loaders, etc.) is an asset
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
