Maral Music Academy is currently looking for passionate and qualified music teachers to provide private piano, guitar, violin, or voice lessons at our school in La Prairie, on Montreal’s South Shore.
We offer a professional, structured, and welcoming environment focused on musical development, high-quality instruction, and the enjoyment of making music.
We are looking for engaging, dynamic, and inspiring teachers who enjoy sharing their passion for music and helping students of different ages and levels progress toward their individual goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant musical education such as a DEC, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong proficiency in a primary instrument or specialty, particularly piano, guitar, violin, or voice
- Previous experience teaching children, teenagers, or adults
- Good knowledge of music reading, music theory, and instrumental or vocal technique
- Organized, dependable, professional, and able to work independently
- Genuine interest in students’ musical development and progress
- Knowledge of the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) program is an asset

Position Details
- Job Type: Part-time / Casual
- Location: In person at our academy in La Prairie, QC
- Pay: CA$25.00–CA$40.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Possible participation in academy activities, events, and student recitals
