We handle every detail of your sanitation program; from on-site management of nightly cleaning crews to managing and maintaining all appropriate documentation necessary for the internal, third party, BRC, SQF, CFIA, and USDA (FSA) audits to name a few.
Responsibilities:
- Support job postings and candidate screening
- Liaises with operational supervisors to collect and follow up on required HR document. Securely collect, compile and file HR documentation; hard-copy and electronic databases
- Maintains the confidentiality of personnel documentation and information at all times
- Continuously represents the organization professionally and with integrity
- May contribute administrative support upon request
- Assist with EDSS events and off-site meetings as needed
- Assist with onboarding new employees and preparing offer letters and employment documents
- Maintain and update employee files and HR databases accurately
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires
- Support internal communication related to HR updates
- Help organize training sessions and employee engagement activities
- Exhibits professional judgment, maintains confidentiality and adheres to all organizational policies and procedures
Working Conditions:
- May include continuous use of the phone, computer use and sitting for long periods at a time
- May travel locally for trainings between customers' locations and trainings early morning and/or late in the evening
Skills and Competencies:
- Completion of HR post-secondary training or in process
- 1 – 2 years of related office experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform clerical tasks with accuracy and a consistent pace
- High level of computer literacy
- Strong integrity and knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- A supportive team player and leader who understands and exemplifies EDSS core values
