Job Summary
We are a small local company seeking a skilled Equipment Operator/Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and supporting various construction activities on-site. This role requires mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including , loaders, excavators, skid steer, with precision and safety.
- Assist with site preparation
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of machinery, equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Support construction activities by moving materials and assisting with site setup and cleanup.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and ensuring proper operation of machinery.
Experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, Skid steers
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to heavy machinery and familiarity with equipment is advantageous.
- Experience in Landscaping or Wet basements
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads as required.
- Valid driver’s license required

Pay: From $22.50 per hour
