- Safely operate a material handler (Liebherr LH22 Litronic) to load bins with ferrous materials for daily hauling.
- Loads bins in a calculated manner that does not damage company property.
- Communicate effectively with yard staff about daily plans and current status of bins.
- Perform daily pre-work inspections.
- Ability to separate ferrous and non ferrous materials (removing wiring harness from cars etc.)
- At least 5 - 10 years of operating a material handler (Liebherr experience preferred)
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
- Customer service skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as climbing is required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers coworkers.
- Fluency in the English language is imperative.
