Delivery Driver (Full-Time & Part-Time) – Speedy Delivery

About Speedy Delivery
Speedy Delivery is an established and rapidly growing local delivery service operating across Brantford. We partner with restaurants and local businesses to provide consistent, reliable delivery throughout the day and into late-night hours through our extended service, Speedy Delivery Express.
Our operation has expanded significantly, with increasing daily order volume and a structured system that supports both drivers and partner businesses.
We are currently looking to bring on reliable, professional drivers to support continued growth.
Position Overview
This is an independent contractor role for drivers who are comfortable working both independently and within a structured dispatch system.
Drivers are responsible for completing deliveries efficiently, handling payments when required, and maintaining accurate tracking of orders throughout their shift.
Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available depending on availability and performance.
Hours & Availability
· Flexible scheduling (daytime, evening, and late-night shifts available)
· Part-time: approximately 10–25 hours per week
· Full-time: higher volume schedules available for consistent drivers
· Additional hours and expanded roles may become available as operations grow
Compensation
· Pay structure is clearly outlined and discussed during the interview
· Drivers earn delivery fees per order, plus tips where applicable
· Consistent volume available, with higher earning potential during peak periods
· Regular and predictable payout structure
Responsibilities
· Pick up and deliver orders accurately and on time
· Handle cash and debit transactions when required
· Track and log deliveries clearly and correctly
· Communicate with dispatch and partner businesses as needed
· Maintain organization across multiple active orders
· Represent Speedy Delivery in a professional manner
Work Environment
· Primarily local routes within Brantford
· Mix of steady and high-volume periods depending on time of day
· Structured dispatch system with clear expectations
· Independent work with minimal supervision once trained
Requirements
· Valid Ontario driver’s license
· Reliable personal vehicle
· Smartphone with data and GPS
· Insulated delivery bags (including pizza-style bag)
· Ability to handle cash and basic payment processing
· Strong reliability, organization, and communication
