We are currently hiring at Peller Estates for the role of Server, Retail & Tour Associate. These shifts including Tasting Room, Retail and Tours and creates a diverse role that will grow your experience in the wine industry! What this teammate will be offered -
- Competitive hourly rate plus the potential to earn up to an additional $7-$10/hour with gratuities!
- up to 35-40 hours per week or as few as 16 hours if you prefer – hours change based on needs of the business but we do have flexibility.

What this teammate will be responsible for -
- Execution and service of tastings, in various spaces and locations. This includes managing all support tasks (clearing dishes/tables, washing glasses, stocking fridges, preparing cutlery). Communicates effectively with Host when tables have been cleaned & reset
- Maximizes revenues per guest transaction (including up-selling) via a solid understanding of:
- property wines / accessories / experiences / Wine Club membership benefits / events
- all Estate Wine Group properties and Andrew Peller Limited Wine Shop locations
- Facilitates guided tours and tasting experiences
- Achieves/exceeds assigned Wine Club membership targets through engaging guests
- Assists with processing guest sales (via POS system).
- Assists with stocking stores shelves and the merchandising of the non-wine products.
- Understands and adheres to retail inventory control procedures (receiving, ordering, promotions, stocking, experience write-offs); participates in monthly retail inventory process
- Follows safe work procedures/practices; reports any unsafe working conditions/hazards to assigned Manager on Duty
- Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the store product, tour route, and experience locations at all times
The skills, experience and knowledge this teammate will bring -
- Demonstrated Guest/Customer service excellence focus; including being personable, service minded and efficient
- 1-2 years experience in service or customer focused environment
- Smart Serve Certification is a requirement
- Ability to lift 40lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to recognize when guests and team members would benefit from support and assistance; contributing to others' initiatives without having to be asked #APSJ
