AllStaff Inc. is actively recruiting AZ Driver/Production Operator in North-East London, ON. The successful candidate will support a World Class leader in the Defense industry, who aid in the design, paint/coating, and manufacturing of light and medium sized armored vehicles. This is a permanent full-time position.
What you would be doing?
- Transporting vehicles to another facility in London on a flat bed.
- When not driving/transporting products you will be working in production:
- Working with aluminum parts, utilizing air blasters, sand blasters, wash bay and rust inhibitor application.
- Utilize vinyl cutter for custom masking, working with glue and various other material such as fiber glass.
- Assist inside a paint booth with the application of wet-spray coating of parts that move on a conveyor line.
- Assembly of doors, ramps, and other specialized equipment Installation of signage utilizing stencils and other material.
- Moving racks of product to be dried, cooled or painted.
- Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, and lift to 30-50 lbs.
- Other duties as required.
What’s Required?
- AZ Drivers license required
- Clean drivers abstract
- At least 3 years AZ driving experience
- 1+ year previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing, factory, construction or other fast pace/mechanical environment.
- Must be flexible to work all shifts: days, afternoons & nights - rotating shifts.
- Must be Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident to qualify for Controlled Goods Program.
- Must have worked in Canada last 5+ years.
- Clean criminal record and 1 work reference and 2 personal references that also have lived in Canada for 5+ years.
