HCR Permanent Search is currently hiring for multiple Millwright positions for our top manufacturing clients across Ontario. Our clients are offering a competitive pay rate and a good benefits program. To be considered, you would need experience working as a Licensed Millwright in the Province of Ontario.
Work Setting: On site
Shift Schedule: Day and night shift opportunities available
Location Details: Vaughan, Aurora, Guelph, Milton, Mississauga, Woodstock, Concord and Newmarket Ontario
Responsiblities:
-Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stamping presses, robotics, and other highly automated equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations with minimal downtime.
-Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, completing work orders on time and recommending improvements to enhance PM effectiveness and equipment reliability.
-Install, modify, and upgrade machinery and equipment (e.g., fans, conveyors, chutes, guards) while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
-Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, including Fanuc robots, to support continuous production.
-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute accurate repairs and modifications.
-Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, providing practical examples of problem-solving and cost reduction in a manufacturing/automotive environment.
Qualifications:
-Industrial Millwright License 433A
-2-5 years' experience with manufacturing equipment and maintenance in a manufacturing environment
-Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
-Experience with highly automated equipment
-Automotive or metal manufacturing experience preferred; candidates with non-automotive backgrounds must have strong automation experience
