Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, we are seeking an HVAC Service Technician in Concord or Barrie ON who will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment and for promoting and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximize equipment up-time through timely response and effective and efficient repair.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Educate customers on proper care and maintenance of equipment.
- Promote the value of the Company’s products, services, and programs on every call.
- Analyze customer needs, recognize business opportunities, and influence sales volume growth.
- Perform timely and accurate ‘trunk stock’ inventory counts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all equipment and regulations.
- Participate in the required product and technical training.
- Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free.
- Strict adherence to all Company established procedures and policies, including Health and Safety and Company Vehicle.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or related experience
- Minimum 5 years in a HVAC Service Technician role
- Proficient in servicing HVAC equipment and water heaters (conventional and tankless)
- Knowledge in WiFi devices and other connected products
- Must possess a Gas Technician 2 license and certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313D or 313)
- Holds a valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card and class G Driver’s License
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, frequent deadline environment
- Proficient in MSOffice
License
- Gas Technician 2 license required

- Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card Required
- Class G Driver’s License Required
