Budget Brake & Muffler Auto Centres in West Kelowna, BC is looking for an Automotive Technician / Brake Mechanic to join our growing team.
Compensation
- Salary position: $60,000–$100,000+ per year (based on experience)
- $3,000 Signing Bonus (paid after successfully completing six months of employment)
- Guaranteed income—even during slower winter or snow days
- No flat-rate pay
- Three-month probation period

What You'll Be Doing
- Brake system inspections and repairs
- Steering and suspension diagnosis and repairs
- Vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Engine performance diagnostics
- Preventive maintenance and general automotive repairs
- Wheel alignments (an asset)
- Tire mounting and balancing
- Performing vehicle inspections and recommending repairs
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship and efficiency
Qualifications
- Automotive repair experience preferred
- Red Seal certification is an asset but not required
- 3rd and 4th Year Apprentices are encouraged to apply
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Pride in producing quality work
