As part of our dynamic dealership, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every customer experiences a smooth and transparent financing process while contributing to the success of our sales team.
Job Purpose
The Finance Manager (F&I/Business Manager) is responsible for managing all aspects of vehicle financing, leasing, and aftermarket product sales. You’ll prepare and finalize all necessary documentation, ensure compliance with lending institutions, and deliver exceptional customer service during the purchasing process.
Core Accountabilities
- Meet with customers finalizing vehicle purchases to present financing and protection options.
- Prepare and review all related financial documentation (finance/lease contracts, warranty agreements, etc.).
- Sell and explain aftermarket products including extended warranties, insurance, and protection packages.
- Submit and monitor credit applications with lending institutions.
- Ensure timely funding and deal processing.
- Address all customer inquiries regarding financing, leasing, or vehicle purchase details.
- Manage lease buyouts, lease transfers, and other related transactions.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and financial partners.
- Achieve or exceed dealership finance department quotas and objectives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business or finance preferred).
- Background in automotive or related financial services is an asset.
- Knowledge of vehicle leasing, financing, and associated documentation.
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence and clear Driver’s Abstract.
- Valid OMVIC registration (or ability to obtain).
- Strong business acumen and professional presentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service and sales abilities.
- Proficiency with PBS and DealerTrack is an asset.
