Job description
The role we offer you: The incumbent is responsible for planning production, support relating to on-time delivery and coordinating the organization of work in collaboration with production and in accordance with cell policies and procedures. He/she also has good stress management, is able to work under pressure with short deadlines. Has good analytical skills, good organizational skills and obvious planning and coordination skills. He/she is ready to get involved in the strategic decisions of the cell. Finally, it is results-oriented and productivity-oriented through effective priority management. Your role will be to plan the production of certain cells in our factory.
More specifically:

Understand the interdependencies within the manufacturing environment itself as well as those with other groups.

Identify / optimize cell bottlenecks to ensure adherence to the overall production plan on schedule.

Perform daily monitoring of scheduling plans and make any necessary adjustments.

Act as a resource person for customer service, engineering, project management and manufacturing cells.

Make recommendations for staff adjustments or leveling of production according to the horizontal plan (workload vs capacity).

Analyze the availability of material inputs in order to adjust the workload release plan accordingly and collaborate with the purchasing department to mitigate the impacts on the production plan.

Analyze the new requirements of the master plan and make the necessary changes.

Work closely with engineering groups and project planners to meet deadlines.

Promote clear communication between the parties and ensure follow-ups.
Your profile

Relevant bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or administration.

At least three years of relevant experience or training in the field.

Strong analytical skills & problem-solving skills;
-
Ability to define problems, gather information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to understand the different assembly sequences and identify bottlenecks
-
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and ensure on-time execution of tasks.

Teamwork and interpersonal skills;

Ability to communicate effectively with different groups, colleagues & internal clients

Able to provide customer support & present information clearly to various stakeholders

In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite; such as Excel.

Thrives in a fast-paced and high-tension environment.

Bilingualism in French and English is required.
Additional nice to have skills:
-
Ability to generate reports with databases using SQL, VBA, Power Query Language M, Power BI not required but definitely a plus.

Familiarity with an integrated management system (ERP), preferably Oracle.
