Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Sign Shop Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating sign-making equipment, managing production processes, and ensuring high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer design, manufacturing and apparel . This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and efficiency are valued. Ability to work in a high pace quick product completion turn around is a must.
Responsibilities
- Operate sign fabrication equipment to produce custom signs according to specifications
- Manage material handling and inventory within the sign shop area
- Assist with packaging finished products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing
- Mechanical knowledge or machining experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols
Pay: $17.80-$25.00 per hour
