Westrans Company is a leading remanufacturer and supplier of heavy-duty truck parts. We are looking for a hard-working individual to join our Production team. As a Warehouse worker you are responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping goods while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. This position is full-time Monday to Friday.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, label and prepare orders for shipment and in-house use, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Inventory Management: Update Inventory record with stock counts
- Receiving and Processing Stock: Unpack, inspect and store incoming inventory, check for damage or discrepancies and report issues
- Equipment operation: Safely operate a forklift, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload delivery vehicles, trailers and shipping containers according to instructions
- Driving: Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and equipment
- Safety and Cleanliness: Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized warehouse and comply with Company and regulatory standards
- Documentation: Record transactions, track shipments and ensure compliance with client or company requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and inventory systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and colleagues
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
- Ability to Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks as required
