Maintenance Manager
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Schedule: Flexibility is required. Hours may vary based on event schedules and operational needs.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, proactive, and adaptable Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of our building and event spaces. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, works well independently, and can respond quickly to changing priorities. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for tenants, guests, and staff while supporting the successful execution of events.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the building and surrounding property.
- Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Set up and tear down event spaces according to event requirements.
- Assist the Event and Hospitality Manager with event-related operational needs.
- Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform seasonal outdoor maintenance, including snow removal, salting walkways, lawn care, and general groundskeeping.
- Identify maintenance issues and recommend repairs or improvements.
- Ensure the building and equipment remain safe, functional, and compliant with applicable health and safety standards.
- Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for outside trades and contractors, coordinating maintenance and repair work, obtaining quotes as needed, and ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with building standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general building systems and maintenance practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $23.50-$28.50 per hour
