Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station, Car wash and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle transactions efficiently while promoting additional products and services.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fueling needs.
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately.
- Process payments, including cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, carwash including fueling areas, convenience store, and restrooms.
- Stock shelves with merchandise and ensure products are displayed attractively.
- Upsell additional products such as snacks, beverages, and car care items to enhance customer experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Monitor fuel levels and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory and store layout effectively.
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with customers and team members.
- Phone etiquette skills for handling inquiries efficiently.
- Experience in upselling products is a plus but not mandatory.
