Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lawn Care Supervisor to lead our landscaping and maintenance teams in delivering exceptional outdoor spaces. In this role, you will oversee daily operations related to lawn care, landscaping, tree care, irrigation, and general horticulture. Your leadership will ensure that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate lawn care, landscaping, gardening, and horticulture activities across multiple sites
- Lead and motivate a team of technicians and crew members to achieve operational excellence
- Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and soil management
- Manage irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to promote healthy growth
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets safety standards and client specifications
- Provide training on landscape maintenance techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use
- Collaborate with clients and team members to develop customized landscaping solutions
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture management
- Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Knowledge of construction processes related to outdoor projects and landscape installations
- Expertise in tree care practices including pruning and health assessment
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate others and foster teamwork
- Solid understanding of gardening techniques and plant health management
- Ability to perform maintenance on landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and vendors
- Passion for creating beautiful outdoor environments while maintaining safety standards
- Must be able to drive a truck and trailer
