Licensed Pharmacy Technician (Must be licensed by the Ontario College of Pharmacists)
Confident in both signing prescriptions independently and checking blister packs for accuracy in both filling and billing.
Data entry of patient care information into Fillware Dispensing Software.
Accurate filling of prescription medications and checking.
Review prescriptions for technical appropriateness and accuracy prior to being dispensed
Communicate with patients via phone and e-mail if needed and relay required information to the team members.
Qualifications
· Excellent English language proficiency
· Proficient computer/data/entry skills.
· Knowledge of Fillware is crucial as the pharmacy is fast-paced. Accuro EMR experience is optional but an asset.
· Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
· Strong communication skills.
· Accurate and efficient
