Lead a Community Pharmacy Where Patient Care Comes First
Shawnee Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Pharmacy Manager to lead our growing community pharmacy in Southwest Calgary. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed pharmacist who is passionate about clinical care, team leadership, and building strong relationships within the community.
As Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, develop relationships with our patient base, work alongside our adjoining medical clinic in a cooperative care model, ensure regulatory compliance, and help drive business growth while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional patient-centered pharmacy services and consultations
- Ensure compliance with Alberta pharmacy regulations and professional standards
- Oversee dispensary workflow, inventory management, and quality assurance programs
- Deliver clinical services including prescribing, medication reviews, injections, and chronic disease management
- Build strong relationships with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Manage pharmacy operations, performance metrics, and business initiatives
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented workplace culture
- Identify opportunities to enhance patient care and grow pharmacy programs
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
- 2 years of community pharmacy experience preferred
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Kroll pharmacy software systems and workflow management
- Authorization to administer injections and prescribe within scope of practice is considered an asset
