Seeking seasonal workers to fill lawn care positions. These positions are Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, 40 hours/week, weather pending. There may be a possibility for alternative work on rainy days. Available from May-August.
All applicants must have:
- Valid class 5 Nova Scotia Driver's License
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Reliable transportation to work
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Physically active and have the ability to work in all weather conditions for long periods of time.
The responsibilities for these positions include:
- Lawn care for public areas within Land-Leased Communities
- Maintenance of provided company truck and equipment (i.e. mowers, trimmers, etc.)
This two person crew is generally left on their own to work through a rotation of common areas within 6 Mobile Home Parks. These areas can be fields, ditches, banks, etc. All employees are required to have their own steel toed boots, long pants and sleeves. Safety equipment that is specific to the job is generally provided, specific PPE will be discussed during the interview process.
This a great job for students or anyone else who enjoys spending the summer outdoors. The ability to be able to tow a trailer is considered an asset.
