What You'll Do:
As a Barista at Café X:

Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, including special requests and modifications.

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages following established recipes.

Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing machines.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.

Handle cash and process payments accurately.
-
Assist with stocking and replenishing café supplies.

Provide exceptional customer service including addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints.

Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
As a Server at Roses Social:

Greet guests in a courteous and welcoming manner, escorting them to their tables and presenting menus.

Provide recommendations on food and beverage selections, taking orders accurately and promptly.

Deliver food and beverages to guests' tables with attention to detail and presentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, questions, or concerns, providing exceptional customer service throughout the dining experience.

Assist with table maintenance, including clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables for the next guests.

Process guest payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and reconcile receipts at the end of shifts.

Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service delivery.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and condiment stations.

Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service regulations and policies.
What You'll Need:

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.

Availability for early morning shifts (6:30 AM starts required) and Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso drink preparation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability to work in different roles.

Smart Serve certification is required for alcohol service.

Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
