The role
We're looking for a Content Creator to be the voice and visual presence of CIRA online. You'll produce the short-form video, photography, written content, and campus stories that show prospective students what studying here actually looks like — and turn that attention into applications.
This is a hands-on creator role, not a strategy-only role. You'll be filming on campus, editing, writing, publishing, and reading the numbers.
What you'll do
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — student stories, instructor features, day-in-the-life, program explainers
- Photograph classes, labs, events, graduations, and campus life for use across our channels
- Write and publish blog posts, program pages, and web copy for ciracareers.ca, with basic SEO discipline
- Build and maintain a content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Draft copy for email campaigns, ads, brochures, and recruitment materials
- Work with instructors, students, and admissions staff to source stories and secure media consent
- Track performance (reach, engagement, applications generated) and adjust what you're making based on it
- Keep content accurate and compliant with PTIRU advertising requirements — no overstated outcomes or unapproved claims

- Comfortable working in WordPress or a similar CMS
- Design basics in Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Able to work on-site in Vancouver and travel between our two campuses
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Nice to have
- Experience in education, EdTech, or student recruitment
- Familiarity with international student audiences and multilingual content
