- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
- Follow all health regulations and safety protocols to create a safe environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, especially in fine dining or catering environments.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
