Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues accurately
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and mechanical work to ensure a safe working environment
- Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to execute precise repairs and part replacements
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work performed
Experience
- Proven experience or extensive mechanic background in automotive repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Hands-on experience with welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment required for automotive repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine maintenance tasks
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism
- Prior experience working with automotive schematics and technical diagrams is highly preferred
