Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate coding lessons that are engaging, interactive, and educational.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and confidence among young students.
- Assess individual student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and developmental levels.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom setting, ensuring all activities adhere to safety standards.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and address any concerns.
- Stay current with emerging trends in early childhood education, coding tools, and educational technology to continuously improve lesson plans.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching young children, preferably within early childhood education or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of coding languages, programming concepts, or computer science fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms suitable for children.
- Passion for working with children and fostering their interest in technology and learning.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm to inspire young learners.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning needs.
- Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education or teaching are a plus but not required.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
