Summary
We are seeking a Part-time Sales Associate to join our team in Orléans, Ontario. In this role, you will help customers find great deals on high-quality children's items while ensuring a welcoming shopping experience. Your contributions will support our mission to provide affordable and safe options for families.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with their shopping needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor.
- Merchandise products effectively to attract customers.
- Ensure all items meet safety standards and are properly checked.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Support inventory management and restocking efforts.
- Promote our store’s mission of offering quality secondhand items at great prices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate POS systems accurately.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Organizational skills to manage stock and maintain store appearance.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and families is preferred.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of safety standards for children's products is an advantage.
- Able to work a variety of shifts open, close or mid-day shifts
