Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher/Planner to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of dispatch experience in the transportation/trucking industry and experience in route planning and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers.
- Plan and optimize routes and deliveries.
- Monitor deliveries and driver routes.
- Communicate with drivers and customers.
- Handle scheduling changes and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of transportation/trucking dispatch experience.
- Experience as a planner with route and load scheduling responsibilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Fleet Manager software is required.
