Overview:
We are looking for an experienced kitchen prep assistant / kitchen hand to join our small, busy casual fine dining restaurant in Lakefield for the season.
Position details:
Seasonal position Wednesday to Saturday day shifts approximately 10:30 am to 2:30 pm plus 2-3 evening shifts per week. Some days may involve working both lunch and dinner service. $19 per hour plus share of gratuities.
The ideal candidate:
Will have previous kitchen experience. Be confident with food preparation. Be able to follow simple recipes accurately. Work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Be reliable, organized, and able to work independently when required. Be comfortable assisting the chef with daily preparation and service.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already has experience working in a kitchen environment and can step in with minimal training.
