We are looking for a Custom Order/Purchasing assistant to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders for customized hats, garments, and accessories with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support the timely processing of purchase orders to ensure program goods are available and branded appropriately for each season.
- Provide coverage for the order management desk as needed.
- Source and procure blank goods from suppliers to meet customization and inventory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure customer specifications and deadlines are met efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate with the Product Development and Art departments on seasonal apparel and accessory finishing for catalog production.
- Assist in maintaining internal databases, including updates for seasonal transitions and pricing accuracy.
- Generate sales reports and contribute to seasonal forecasting; strong proficiency in Excel is required.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth workflow and successful order fulfillment.
Requirements
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with open purchase order reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems (inventory and part number management).
- Knowledge of decoration techniques such as heat transfer, embroidery, and screen printing is an asset.
