Overview
We are seeking a skilled Motor Coach mechanic for our shop, The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in maintaining various types of Buses and Mini Coaches. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet, providing exceptional service to our clients, and maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
Duties
- perform inspection and maintain motor coaches and mini coaches
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and assembly tasks.
- Troubleshoot mechanical & electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks or when moving equipment.
Experience
- Proven experience in dealership settings or with heavy machinery operation is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, HVAC systems, trucks and buses is needed
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
