Position Overview
Join our team as a full-time, permanent Finishing Technician / Machine Operator, where duties span rotational molding, part finishing, machine operation, and general labour. This position supports both roto-molding and plastic material processing functions, with broad opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Operate roto-molding machines, shredders, pulverizers, blenders, and mixers independently.
- Perform finishing work such as trimming, deburring, and assembling molded parts using hand tools (impacts, reciprocating saws, grinders, routers, drills).
- Weigh, load, and handle materials based on part specifications and perform accurate documentation.
- Change molds, de-mold finished products, and execute general maintenance on molds and equipment.
- Conduct quality inspections, ensuring compliance with specifications and complete supporting documentation.
- Handle materials using forklifts (license required).
- Package, document, and store finished parts per company protocols.
- Contribute as General Labour as needed.
Position Requirements
- Experience in plastics manufacturing, machine operation, or as a finishing technician preferred.
- Capability to work in a hot, fast-paced environment, lift up to 70 lbs, stand for extended periods, and adapt to evolving production needs.
- Self-directed, with strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to distinguish close colors and material codes, perform basic math/measurement, and keep accurate records.
- Willingness to work days, afternoons, overtime, weekends, 8- or 10-hour shifts.
- Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and workplace safety.
- Forklift license required for material handling.
- MUST HAVE EXPERENCE WITH HAND TOOL USE! routers, drills, hand saws ect.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage, PAID WEEKLY based on experience and willingness to advance.
- Regular performance reviews leading to potential wage increases (raises after 45 days and probation).

Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8.5-hour day or afternoon shifts Monday - Thursday 10 hr. shifts ; overtime and weekend availability as required.
