You'll be responsible for ensuring the e-scooters and e-bikes in our fleet are safe and functional. It's a physically demanding and lively job that gives you hands-on experience with e-scooter repair and maintenance. This position is critical in helping us build and maintain our fleet, and it has a direct impact on the millions of people who use our service.
Current Shift Openings
- Morning, approx. 9:00am-5:30pm
Must be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday for this position
Orientation Shifts:
- June 17th from 10:00am - 1:00pm (orientation shift only)
Responsibilities
- Manage the warehouse and it’s flow
- Inspect and repair various types of e-scooter mechanical and software issues
- Following processes to ensure all vehicles are safe to ride
- Accurately account for spare part inventory
- Maintain a tidy and functional work environment
- Assist with the cleanliness and maintenance of our warehouse facility
Requirements
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a variety of scenarios
- Basic tool proficiency is required
- Prior experience in bike mechanics or e-scooter is advantageous
- Lifting up to 50 pounds; stooping, bending, walking, and standing for long periods
- Flexible availability and willingness to work on weekends regularly
- Must be comfortable using technology (smartphone)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to operate autonomously with little supervision and make quick priority judgments
- Be willing to be subject to a background check
