Job Overview
Lakeside Electrical is looking for an individual to fill the position of Commercial Service Electrician. This is a new position within our company, brought about by the increasing demand of our commercial clients, which is a great problem to have! We are looking for an individual who enjoys interacting with customers and is comfortable with a new situation every day. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse tasks and utilize a broad skill set.
Duties
- Meet with customers on site and provide excellent customer service
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems in commercial settings
- Install new wiring in small renovation applications and be able to read design drawings
- Follow safety protocols and ESA guidelines including educating customers on possible safety hazards
Experience & Skills
- Comfortable interacting with others
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in a commercial environment
- Critical thinking and problem solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, complete tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines
Required
- 309A License in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario
- Valid Class G drivers license
