Job Title: Janitor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a sanitary environment within our facilities. As a Janitor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall maintenance and upkeep of the premises.
Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks to uphold cleanliness standards
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed
- Assist with setting up for events or meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Have your own reliable vehicle.
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is an asset
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions effectively
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in work
- Physical stamina to handle prolonged standing, bending, and lifting
- Good communication skills to interact with staff and report maintenance issues promptly
