Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift / Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through safe material handling, equipment operation, and collaboration with the production team.
Shifts Available:
- Monday to Friday, – 11:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m. (Night Shift)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate thermal laminate press line equipment (training provided)
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling and storage procedures
- Support inventory control through accurate material tracking and periodic counts
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure materials are delivered on schedule
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is an asset
- Valid forklift experience or certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced setting
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as required
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
