Cedar Grove Child Development Centre is a faith-based early childhood education centre committed to nurturing children in a safe, inclusive, and developmentally rich environment. We serve families in the Surrey community with excellence, compassion, and Christian values.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director to lead our Centre. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with strong administrative skills, a heart for children, and a commitment to fostering a positive and professional team culture.
Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with BC childcare licensing regulations
Lead and support a team of early childhood educators
Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum
Manage budgets, enrollment, and administrative records
Build strong relationships with families and staff
Promote a nurturing, inclusive, and faith-informed learning environment
Support staff training and development
Valid ECE certification and BC License to Practice
Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with 2+ years in a leadership role
Legally allowed to work in Canada
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of BC childcare regulations and best practices
Alignment with the mission and values of Cedar Grove Church
