Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Help with serving food to customers or plating dishes as directed
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist in dishwashing and waste disposal to uphold cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and meal preparation is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is a plus
- Experience in food industry settings demonstrates reliability and understanding of kitchen operations
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, serving, and kitchen safety
