WHO WE ARE
Centennial Infant and Child Centre (“CICC”) is a Toronto-based non-profit supporting infants and young children with developmental delays or risk for delays. CICC provides individually tailored programs and services for children aged 0–5 and their families, including: in-home Early Intervention (including H2H), an on-site specialized Preschool, and Toronto Children Services’ Every Child Belongs (“ECB”) Resource Consultation program.
The Early Intervention program is a home-visiting service that supports families with children (from birth to daycare or kindergarten entry) who have delays or risk of delays in two or more areas of development. This program empowers parents and caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support their child’s growth, fostering stronger developmental outcomes through hands-on guidance, coaching, and personalized strategies.
Hospital-to-Home (H2H), a sub-program of Early Intervention, supports parents/caregivers in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) during their infant’s prolonged hospitalization. Early Childhood Interventionists begin supporting with families in the hospital setting before discharge, and then continue support in the family’s home, ensuring continuity of care.
