Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team for a fast paced family owned Meat & Deli Shop . As a Deli Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the deli operates efficiently. Looking for a candidate to work an average of 30 -35 hours weekly. Sundays & Mondays off, no evenings.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Assist customers with their orders and provide exceptional service
- Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently
-Assist in any other requests needed - i.e. Filling shelves, restocking product
Qualifications
- Experience in a deli, food service, or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
-Candidate must be fluent in English. Bilingualism is an asset
- Ability to sanitate work areas and equipment regularly
-Candidate must be able to follow orders in a timely and efficient manner
-Must be punctual
-Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
