We are currently seeking an experienced U.S. Corporate Tax Manager to join our growing U.S. tax practice. This opportunity is positioned at the Manager level; however, we are open to considering candidates at the Senior Manager level where their experience, technical depth, and leadership capabilities are the right fit for the firm.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and execute engagements and client projects in line with professional standards and Firm policies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, actively involved in clients’ decision-making processes.
- Prepare and review corporate tax filings, including related tax planning.
- Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-focused environment.
- Conduct research on technical matters related to client situations.
Specific Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of US corporate federal and state tax rules specifically related to the preparation of Forms 1120 and 1120F including consolidated tax return filings.
- Understanding of international tax reporting forms such as 5472, 5471, 8865, 8858, 8992, 8993.
- Understanding of IRS rules relating to Controlled Foreign Corporation; Subpart F, GILTI rules and Section 956 rules, section 382, check the box planning.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Canada-US tax treaty provisions as they relate to permanent establishment and business profits analysis.
- Understanding of State Nexus Rules, Unitary taxation, Public Law 86-272 and impact of Wayfair case.
- Solid accounting understanding of Accounting for Income Taxes (e.g., tax provisions).
- Good knowledge of US partnership rules and preparation of Form 1065, K-1s.
Professional and Experience Requirements:
- US CPA designation or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required.
- Masters in US Tax preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 5 years of experience specializing in tax compliance and planning.
- Proficiency in reviewing corporate and partnership returns.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Proficient in CCH Axcess, CaseWare, and MS Office.
- Dedicated to delivering quality service and value to clients.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven people management and leadership skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
