Job description
The Service Advisor is the front-line position representing our Service Dept to our customers in all aspects: in person, on the phone, and via email. As such, employees who have been successful in this position are able to maintain a calm, authoritative presence while being sympathetic to customers’ situations and having the ability to make tough calls.
Responsibilities
- Provide front-line customer service and sales for the Service Department
- Greeting customers on the phone or in the Dealership
- Providing repair recommendations
- Explaining the nature of repairs
- Advising customers how to look after their vehicles
- Scheduling appointments
- Ascertaining and ordering parts
- Selling labour
- Providing an extraordinary experience for all customers
Qualifications:
- M licensed, experienced rider preferred; ATV & snowmobile experience is also an asset
- CDK experience preferred
- An aptitude for customer relations/service
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to sell required maintenance
- Ability to work as the member of a team in a fast-paced environment
Salary
The salary listed is a combination of a base hourly rate and commission. This can be easily exceeded with further parts sales and, depending on experience level, higher base hourly rates will be offered.
