Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant and Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage with children in a way that promotes their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs, including those of children with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Organize classroom activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English are preferred.
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Proven ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Teaching experience with under 36 months children is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to balance lesson planning, teaching, and administrative duties.
- Leadership qualities to guide students in their learning journey.
- Proficient computer skills for record keeping and lesson planning purposes.
