As a Shop Supervisor / Shop Foreman, you’ll be the key leader overseeing day‑to‑day truck repair and maintenance operations. The successful candidate brings 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in the transportation or heavy‑duty repair industry, along with strong technical expertise as a 310T Journeyperson Truck Technician or Interprovincial Red Seal Technician.

- Shift Structure: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- · Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers and internal teams
- · Lead daily safety meetings and champion a proactive, safety‑first workplace culture
- · Oversee repair operations to ensure timely, high‑quality, and accurate work, while stepping in to assist with repairs when needed
- · Train, mentor, and provide day‑to‑day leadership for all Shop Service Department employees
- · Enhance the customer experience by evaluating current service processes and implementing improvements
- · Communicate key service metrics and monitor overall department performance
- · Review performance results and drive operational improvements based on data and insights
- · Measure, track, and strengthen departmental productivity, efficiency, and overall effectiveness
- · Support the Service Manager in developing and maintaining training programs for Service Department staff
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 310T Truck and Coach Technician License or Interprovincial Red Seal Certification
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in the transportation industry
- Strong experience as a Journeyman Truck Mechanic (Hino experience preferred)
- Proven leadership, organization, and team development skills
- Commitment to safety, quality service, and operational efficiency
