We are seeking an experienced and safety‑focused Concrete Saw Cutter to join our construction operations team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise in concrete and asphalt cutting and excel in a fast‑paced, high‑production environment. This role requires precision, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple trades while maintaining a positive and respectful jobsite culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and utilize hydraulic concrete saws and concrete chop (cut‑off) saws to accurately cut concrete and asphalt surfaces for removal or installation activities
- Perform preventative maintenance on saw‑cutting equipment, including blade inspection and replacement
- Fill and manage water tanks for dust suppression and safety compliance
- Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle to transport equipment between job sites
- Coordinate work activities with construction crews, supervisors, and site management to ensure efficiency and schedule adherence
- Follow all company safety policies, provincial regulations, and site‑specific requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform additional duties as required to support project and operational needs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete saw cutting within a construction or industrial environment
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulic concrete saws and cut‑off saws
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record free of major infractions
- Ability to pass a medical/fitness‑for‑duty examination as a condition of employment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to take direction and work effectively within a team
- Comfortable working in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments while maintaining productivity and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional workplace
Work Environment
- Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to construction noise, dust, and heavy equipment
