We are currently hiring a warranty coordinator to work out of our Abbotsford distribution warehouse located at 1325 Riverside Rd, Abbotsford. Your initial training period will be in completed in our Coquitlam store location (110 Woolridge Street). Applicants will need to have reliable transportation for the training period.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Job Qualifications:
- Well organized, flexible and displays a positive attitude
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience handling warranty claims and inventory returns would be an asset
- Ability to assess products and identify potential defects or misuse
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills – Both oral and written in the English language
- Strong computer skills and proficiency including but not limited to the Microsoft Office suite of programs – Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support stores to determine appropriate procedures upon receipt of warranty items to ensure we provide outstanding customer service
- Submit warranty claims to vendors and complete inventory returns in accordance with internal guidelines, expectations and procedures
- Communicate effectively and professionally to facilitate returns and communicates decisions appropriately to various departments in a timely manner and within defined procedures
- Monitor warranty reports daily to and assess warranty eligibility
- Facilitate the return of warranty product in the appropriate method of delivery
- Assist with staff training on warranty policies and proper claim handling
- Recommend process improvements to reduce claim times and streamline the customer experience
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate vendor buy backs or special programs
- Actively engage in improving warranty systems in place and finding opportunities to enhance reporting and organization
- Completes other warehouse duties or responsibilities effectively, accurately and in a timely manner as directed by the Distribution Warehouse Manager. This may include, but is not limited to: shipping, receiving, picking, stock putaway, etc.
