Modern friendly downtown dental practice seeking a Part-Time Dental Receptionist to work with our welcoming and supportive team.
We are a fully digital practice, and offer the latest technologies including 3D scanning and all aspect of general/cosmetic dentistry. Candidate should possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, be energetic, and enjoy working with people. On-site training provided as needed to further develop skills. Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients to the practice with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Answering email inquiries and incoming calls to assist with patient needs in a timely manner
- Scheduling and confirming appointments to optimize productivity
- Ensuring a positive patient experience and providing excellent customer care
- Maintaining good records of patient communications
- Processing payments for treatment rendered and submissions for insurance claims/pre-determinations
- Preparing day end reports
- Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
**Experience in a dental receptionist position or related role in the dental industry is required**
Good knowledge of Abeldent is a definite asset
Be able to present and book recommended treatment with confidence
Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
Openness to learning and be a team player
Time Commitment:
- Excellent clinic hours with no late evenings or weekends
- 2-3 working days to start, possibility of additional shifts depending on office needs
- Preference for a candidate who can work these shifts: Mon 10:00am-6:00pm and occasional Fridays
- To facilitate training or help with coverage, other shifts may be offered: Tue 8am-4pm, or Thur 9am-4:45pm
- Immediate start available
Pay Rate: Starting $24+/hr. Pay rate offered at employment will reflect individual candidate's skills, level of experience/ability and responsibilities.
