Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction Renovation projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction management software, and a thorough understanding of blueprint reading and schematics. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Supervisor will coordinate teams, manage resources, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a productive and secure work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations
- Monitor progress and quality control, ensuring work meets all safety and building codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents accurately
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting
- Oversee budgeting processes related to labor, materials, and equipment usage
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
- Lead safety meetings and enforce safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment
- Manage on-site personnel, providing supervision, guidance, and performance feedback
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment needed for ongoing projects
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction processes
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
- Demonstrated ability in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
- Experience with quality control procedures and maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Strong background in budgeting, resource allocation, and project scheduling
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance within construction sites
